Although enjoying a uniquely enviable position on Sydney Harbour, the original design of this home was severely flawed and causing its owners much concern. Archer Design were called in to transform this awkward example of 80’s exuberance into a highly functional family home, making it suitable for large scale entertaining, but also for smaller family gatherings.

A massive re-design, demolition and construction programme was undertaken to transform this ugly duckling into a fine example of restrained late modernist residential design. More importantly, this is now a home that the owners now greatly enjoy living in. Their substantial art collection can now be displayed to full advantage and the prime vantage point on the harbour enjoyed from every space.
