Archer Design undertook the extensive renovation of this Whale Beach-side home for a long term client who required a comfortable yet elegant weekender in which to relax and unwind.

By opening up the plan to the views and developing a design that encouraged a seamless flow between indoor & outdoor spaces, the true joy of this wonderfully located home was fully revealed. A simple, warm palette of natural materials was selected to be low maintenance and user friendly, with the elegance of the overall design enhanced by the careful selection of furniture and furnishings.

Simple batten panelling enlivens the double –height living/dining hall and shots of bold colour in the upholstery scheme bring a freshness to the space that immediately prompt a feeling of calm relaxation.
